Flint Hills Woodturners

Attention: Woodturners near Manhattan, KS

At 9am on 21 March 2015 there was an organizational meeting of interested woodturners held near Wamego, Kansas. There was definitely sufficient interest to form a club. If you are interested in the craft and within driving distance of Manhattan and Wamego, this may be for you. Call me at 785-456-7890 or e-mail me at tboley10@gmail.com for further information. We are now in our third year, have established a monthly meeting day as the first Sat of the month at 9, and now want to see what we can do to promote woodturning in Kansas. We meet in my shop but have found a new place for our expanding club. The move is pending completion of some work at the new venue. Even if you have never turned a thing but think it sounds like fun (and it is), this may well be for you. Call or e-mail for more info -- 785-456-7890.

Our meeting format will be to gather between 8 and 9, have Show and Tell at 9, then a short business meeting followed by a woodturning demonstration of some kind. We meet the first Saturday of the month. Call or e-mail for directions to the meeting.
